My Review - 4/5 Stars

This was hard to read on kindle but I think would make an amazing physical book for kids! It was delightful and fun and was a really cute story about getting over being scared overall I loved the pictures and the quality of writing that came with it.

Hippo's Lost Balloon

Hippo's Lost Balloon - Autumn Bradley

Synopsis -

Hippo's excitement over a new blue balloon leads to a whimsical journey when it mysteriously disappears. Alongside Monkey and Zebra, readers join a heartwarming quest filled with laughs, surprises, and the magic of friendship. Hippo's Lost Balloon is an engaging story that imparts valuable lessons about resilience, kindness, and joy, making it a perfect addition to every child's bookshelf as the second installment of the Sloth and Friends series.

My Rating 4/5

This is an adorable little story about Hippo and her blue Balloon the only part I found a little interesting was some of the verbiage was higher grade level than this would be for a child reading picture books. All the same my 9-year-old thought this was hilarious and adorable and wanted to read it again. The message in it is all about helping each other out and I loved that.

WInifred Rose Armstrong: IT Happened

WInifred Rose Armstrong: IT Happened -

Lillie Sloan

Synopsis -
Released in 2018, and recently re-released in full color, Winifred Rose Armstrong: IT Happened is a sweet story of a spunky five-year-old affectionately called Freddie. She loves to sing as loud as she can. Songs about wheels on buses, Jesus loves me songs and monky songs. She loves purple and would do anything to learn about being 'sponsible so she can get a dog. But IT Happens, and nothing is ever going to be the same.
For families experiencing a new sibling, this book will give you a comical view of what a small child might feel when they find out about the new addition. Based on my own experiences with my daughter, who I nicknamed Fred, and her desire for me to just put her brother "back in there", this is one of my favorite stories. I hope you will enjoy it too.

My Rating 5/5

This story is an adorable little story about a girl getting a sibling. She is fun and playful at five years old and I think this would be a great book for any child getting a new sibling.
I feel like this book would be relatable to many little kids and make them enjoy the idea of a sibling.
My kids although already having siblings thought this was an adorable story and were excited to read it with me.
